We are looking for a Server/Bartender to join our team. We’re a craft cocktail bar in downtown White Bear Lake focused on creative, high-quality cocktails and great hospitality.
This is a hybrid position. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable serving tables and working behind the bar and is willing to do both depending on what the shift needs.
What we’re looking for.
We’d love to find someone who:
- Has bartending and/or serving experience.
- Has an interest in craft cocktails and mixology.
- Is willing to learn our cocktails, spirits, ingredients, and techniques.
- Can provide knowledgeable, friendly service without making it feel overly formal.
- Is comfortable serving tables as well as bartending.
- Works well in a busy environment and stays organized.
- Pays attention to the small details.
- Is dependable and works well with the rest of the team.
- Takes pride in keeping their bar and service areas clean and ready for service.
About the bar:
Cocktails are a big part of what we do at The Alchemist. Our menu goes beyond basic mixed drinks and includes house-made syrups and cordials, infusions, clarified cocktails, specialty garnishes, seasonal ingredients, traditional and modern craft cocktail techniques.
You do not need to walk in knowing everything. We care about experience, but we also care about curiosity and a willingness to learn. We want someone who is genuinely interested in cocktails and hospitality and wants to continue developing their skills. Someone who is passionate about craft cocktails.
The position:
As a Server/Bartender, you’ll move between serving and bartending depending on the shift. Responsibilities include taking care of guests, making cocktails to spec, learning the menu, helping with opening and closing duties, maintaining a clean workspace, restocking, and helping the team wherever needed.
We’re looking for someone who understands that a great craft cocktail bar isn’t just about making a beautiful drink—it’s about making people want to come back.

Experience: Previous serving or bartending experience preferred. Craft cocktail experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
